Wednesday, August 29th, 2007
I always find myself in the how dressed do I need to get dilemma. It’s the weekend and you are heading out with your man or girlfriends to a trendy club or new hot spot in your city. Of course you want to look fashionable but you also want to be comfortable so you can show off your moves on the dance-floor. Jeans tend to be my go-to pick but sometimes I run into the dilemma of jeans being too casual. That is when a pair of dressy denim pants come in handy like this Pleated Denim Pant in Midnight from Parameter.
They have some extra details and flare to take your traditional pair of jeans up a notch. They are dark, light-weight denim so they almost look like black pants. They are wide-legged and pleated with a sexy waistband and two front accent pieces with buttons. These would definitely work when you want to wear jeans but want to be a little more dressed up for the occasion.

Gal Pal Garment Deodorant Remover
Wednesday, August 29th, 2007
I have to admit, I am sometimes a victim of walking around unknowingly with deodorant streaks on my top. Try as I might to avoid it they sometimes creep their ugly head onto my clothes and the worst part about it is that I usually don’t realize it until I am at work well into the day. The Gal Pal Garment Deodorant Remover from The Spoon Sisters is a great thing to keep in your handbag or your desk drawer. The kit comes with two circular pads that you can wipe over the white marks to make them disappear from your clothing. You can either use them dry or add a little water if it is appearing tough to remove. Now you won’t have to worry about co-workers looking at you wondering how you managed to leave the house without noticing the condition of your shirt.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Shoes
Tuesday, August 28th, 2007
If you are a shoe fanatic like I am than you should be well acquainted with Zappos.com. If not, it would definitely be worth your time to visit the site because it is a shoe lovers paradise with a ton of brands and shoe selections to choose from in addition to sometimes lower pricing and free shipping so you really can’t beat it.
Well, I just recently found out that they now offer a Couture page for some higher-end shoes that make me really want to increase my credit card bill. Like these Marc Jacobs shoes which I think would be such an investment. They are black leather platform rounded toe pump with a bow accent at the toe and a ruffle around the foot opening. They have a four inch thicker heel which is very popular right now. They are a little pricey but I recently watched a television special about shoes and handbags and learned that with these higher priced shoes you aren’t just paying for the name brand but also the engineering that goes in to make them comfortable and last for years. The show highlighted the construction of some high-end brands and they actually put cushioning and other inserts to protect the ball of your feet from taking all the pressure of the heels. I am always on the go and love wearing heels, so as a result, my feet are constantly aching. I think I have come to the conclusion that I wouldn’t mind dropping more money on a pair of shoes like this that are fabulous, comfortable, and can last through all the changing styles - basically whatever it takes to justify the buyer’s remorse!

Snap Button Cardigan from Banana Republic
Tuesday, August 28th, 2007
I am always on the lookout for a good cardigan for work. The temperature where I work always varies but I consistently seem to get cold and sometimes my little space heater just doesn’t cut it and my zip-up hoodies don’t really go with my work attire. This Snap Button Cardigan from Banana Republic would be a great option. It comes in two colors - black and flintstone, which is a neutral creme based color. The sweater is made of ribbed Merino wool with sleeves that come right to the elbow. It closes with one over sized button that snaps to create the flowing look as it falls from your body. It’s not too heavy so it will work well over your shirt and give you just enough of an extra layer to keep warm and of course look stylish.

Phat Farm Reversible Twill Jacket
Monday, August 27th, 2007

I’ve always liked getting reversible apparel because it’s more bang for your buck. And that’s exactly what you get with the Reversible Twill Jacket from Phat Farm. This reversible jacket features a zip front closure, ribbed cuffs and a plaid print on one side with the other side being Tan with Brown accents. The color pallet gives you plenty of option to mix and match outfits. I also like how the inside of the collar makes the other sides color pop.
