Tuesday, October 30th, 2007![]()

I love Mojitos. Especially the flavored ones like pineapple or mango. They are just the right amount of sweet and tart which are two of my favorite taste sensations. So when I saw this Malin + Goetz Mojito CandleI became very intrigued. The candle combines lime, rum, mint leaves, basil, spearmint, Chinese mint and white musk to create a very unique scent for your home or your office. They even recommend that you burn the Mojito Candle along with their other option, which is the Dark Rum candle. Because after all, what is a mojito without the rum!

Swingin Martini Glass Dish Towles
Monday, October 29th, 2007
Buying something that is handmade is always more special than having something that is mass produced. It’s original and the chances of you finding other people with the same thing are pretty slim. They are also great conversation starters because you can talk about the designer and how you found out about them. These Swingin Martini Glass Dish Towels are unique, fun and really cute. They come from InHope, a do-it-yourself crafty designer, who describes the line as readymade cute. The dish towels are bright blue with handstiched martini glasses, olives and starbursts made out of felt. They make the perfect touch to have out for your guests to dry their hands or just as decoration when you are entertaining.

Converse All Star Hi Top Cabin Eggs and Bacon Sneakers
Monday, October 29th, 2007

We personally would like to keep our bacon and eggs at the breakfast table, but Chuck Taylor decided to bring the duo to a whole new light with these Converse All Star Hi Top Cabin Eggs and Bacon Sneakers. We aren’t really sure if they are more of a joke or more a statement, but we would love to hear from you! Is this little breakfast entree, DAMN HOT or NOT? Although, they do go beyond basketball, by entering the world of fashion in a bold way, is it too much? The shoe features a synthetic upper in bright reds and yellows, vulcanized rubber out sole for increased traction and flexibility and of course, that “in your face” picnic pattern with a small portion of your bacon and eggs on top. We’re just disappointed you don’t get the same great smell accompanying the ever famous breakfast pair.

Shop, Confess, Win $20,000 And Shop Some More!
Friday, October 26th, 2007There is a great new contest that just started - the national search for the best secret shopping confessions. I know this is something a lot of people can relate to - buying purchases and then hiding them from your significant others, friends or family. Maybe it was a guilty pleasure, like a designer handbag or the latest cell phone. Perhaps it was a diamond ring for an anniversary surprise. Or in my case, all the DVD’s and books that I purchase and try to put them on the bookshelf or in the DVD shelves before my girlfriend has a chance to spot them and complain that I bought yet another one. eBillme is offering one grand prize winner $20,000 to come clean with a video confession. All you have to do is make a 30-60 second video confessing your secret purchase and upload it to the official YouTube contest channel at http://www.youtube.com/group/shopandconfess. Then register your confession at ShopandConfess.com.
Every week for four weeks, the producer of the most popular video confession on YouTube will receive $1,000. And on Dec. 13, 2007 one $20,000 grand prize winner will be selected by a panel of judges, including co-founder of www.StyleBakery.com, Alison Deyette, for the best secret shopping confession. The winning video will show the world what the contestant bought, where they bought it, why they bought it, who they bought it for, why they kept it a secret, how they kept it secret, and how their secret was revealed.
So, if you have something to confess, check out the site and get your video in so you can have a chance to win!

Thursday, October 25th, 2007
After moving into my apartment I realized I have a lot of stuff that I just can’t put out because how much can you put on top of an entertainment unit or on top of a dresser. So, a lot of picture frames and knick-knacks stay put away until I can find somewhere to put them. The Medallion Shelving from Brocade Home would be a great and decorative location to hold some of your personal memorabilia and home accents. The shelf comes in 2 sizes, petite and regular and is cast iron with a bronze finish. They not only will dress up your walls but they are also functional as well.
