If your have resolved to improve your diet for the New Year than I can pretty much predict that you have been eating more salads than before. While salads are a great way to watch your weight and eat some good greens and vegetables the salad dressing can take what were good intentions and turn them into not so good results. It is all about portion control and that really holds true to your salad dressing amount as well. I am pretty basic when it comes to my salad dressing taste. Give me some traditional oil and vinegar and I am set. But even with that I struggle finding the right amount that will give good flavor. If you buy the oil/vinegar dispenser watch out! The product is so flimsy that after less than a month of use the rubber gasket tore and the dispenser is useless. I bought two dispensers and had similar problems with both. Needless to say I will not purchase another dispenser!
I bought the “press and pour” dispenser since I thought it was the answer to all the recipes that need one or two tablespoons of oil. I do not recommend this product. Shortly after using it, it started to act up and the oil would no longer pump to the top. Also the side rubber things you press came off and oil started gushing. I am currently trying to get a replacement through the company which is not going well.
I so wanted to try this oil pump/meas. but do to reviews here and elsewhere I will not.
