Fossil Power Beads Bracelet

The call of the jungle is calling you with a WILD new trend this spring. Tribal and jungle prints are breaking loose from the depths within and appearing all over the place; from shoes, to purses, to jewelry and we are just wild about it all. This Fossil Power Beads Bracelet combines a handcrafted look with a modern appeal. This women’s earthy power bead bracelet features round semi-precious and resin stones on a leather band. While it may appear that this trend is reserved for the casual at heart, it can easily be dressed up to maximum proportions to be taken beyond the jeans and t-shirt kind of girl. Pop Art Heel

Artwork doesn’t need to be kept locked up in a big old fancy museum. Wear some of it on your feet! Art prints are going to be incredibly huge this Spring, mimicking many and making art collectors and experts completely jealous. Impressionistic, floral and abstract patterns dominate this trend and keep things colorful. This Pop Art Heel from Heels.com is an “impressive” example of great artwork to wear yourself. With its multi-colored fabric, peep toe front and patent detail at the vamp, this shoe wasn’t meant to be hung up on a wall! It was meant to be walking throughout town, perfectly placed under a simple black dress or skinny pants! Like many of this season’s trends, we recommend you don’t overdo it with a dramatically busy pattern such as this. Stick with solids and simple ensembles to match up with this busy accessory!

Sally Hansen Quick Fast Dry Nail Pen

Sally Hansen Quick Fast Dry Nail Pen

I have been going to a nail salon to get my nails done for years so I have kind of been removed from the DIY at home nail supplies. However, I was going through a magazine this past weekend and came across an ad for the Sally Hansen Quick Fast Dry Nail Pen and it really caught my attention. I think this is really cool. Back when I would try to do my own nails, I was never really that good at it and would have trouble maneuvering the brush and getting the angle correctly for applying the nail polish. This Nail Pen basically allows you to draw the nail polish right onto your nails. You just click the pen and it dispenses the color onto the small brush which you can just glide over your nails. It’s a fast-dry formula and you don’t have to worry about spillage. What I really like about this is that it can conveniently fit in your purse so if you chip your nails you can quickly and easily reapply right on the go.

No Country for Old Men

Now you can own the instant classic by the Coen brothers, No Country for Old Men on DVD. This adaptation of the Cormac McMarthy novel is the Coen brothers best triller since Fargo and arguably their best movie yet. See what all the Academy Award hype is about and maybe even found out why Javier Bardem’s character has that weird hair cut.

Citrine Necklace by the Stones

If you were one of the many that witnessed the style and grace of the celebs on the red carpet for the Academy Awards, then you could not have missed the overkill in graphically large necklaces! A jewelry trend for spring, this is a great way to simplify your ensemble, while exaggerating your accessories. Keep the sequined dresses and glittered tops at home and stick with a basic black cocktail dress the next time you head out on the town. Then throw on a necklace such as this Citrine Necklace by the Stones. With its gold plated chain and clasp closure at back of neck, it remains a true classic in the line of jewelry. However, the chest pounding interlocking link reveals more than a classic, but rather a unique addition to just about any outfit you have. Be sure to keep your outfit as plain as possible though. Don’t ever mix and match a graphic necklace such as this, with a loud top or dress. Embrace strong geometric shapes and large pieces, as if they were on the dress or top itself.

Ombre Top from Charlotte Russe

Ombre Top

An array of colors seem to dominate the top trends for spring 08′ and this one is something a little out of the ordinary. Ombre is a French word meaning “to come out in the open,” and that is exactly why this trend is all about the contrast of softer to bolder colors, revealing themselves from within one another, in the open. Take this Charlotte Russe Ombre Top, with its obvious dominating cherry red color that fades into a lighter shade, if you only look closely enough. Pleats and creases give the onlooker the illusion that the color of the shirt is changing right before their very eyes! With this ombre pattern, trick those around you while remaining in one of the top trends this season. They reveal a softer and more creative mood for both wearer and onlooker alike, without trying too hard and looking like a big old color changing chameleon mess!

Liz Claiborne Rocklin Gathered Hobo Handbag

While vibrant leather accessories are making their way up the trend ladder for spring, so are their polar opposite; neutral leather! Who would ever think that two shades so completely different could make their way into the spring trend poll. This Liz Claiborne Rocklin Gathered Hobo Handbag is a perfect example of how sheik and sexy a neutral leather with muted tones, can truly be. With its gathered detailing, polished gold-tone hardware and polka-dot printed lining, this bag, along with other cream, tan and bone bags, make themselves a great go-with-anything accessory. And while the muted shades above make their way as the most popular, lets not forget another neutral shade; gray! While we don’t see gray making its way onto the fashion runway often, this spring it will dominate the accessory circuit.

Laura Dahl York Top Neon

If you were a child of the 80s and/or early 90s, heck if you were around for either, then you MUST remember the ever so eye burning trend of neon colored everything! Well, they say that trends come back to haunt us and this one certainly has this spring. Neons are back with a bigger and, if you can believe it, louder presence. A great example is this Laura Dahl York Top. With its shockingly intense hot pink hue, it screams for attention. The wing style sleeves are breezy and loose fitting, with delicate chains and stone charms attached at the bottom of each opening under the arms, to add a little something different to an already attention seeking shirt. Match this up with more subdued bottoms and accessories to make sure that you do not blind your audience and ruin the impression you are giving off. Remember, when it comes to neons….one piece at a time!
