Tame that Fro with Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray!

By Lauren | July 21, 2008

If you have curly hair, you are always looking for ways to manage frizz that surrounds your head like an aura. It’s not your aura and it’s not attractive. Search no more! I’ve found the cure! (That rhymes!) Give John Frieda’s Frizz-Ease product, Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray a shot at managing that mess.

I’ve used tons of products from Aussie to Bed Head that claim to create luscious curls and tame frizz, but none have worked as beautifully as Dream Curls. It was a well-known fact in my college dorm that this was the product for styling curly hair. It’s a secret no more! Dream Curls leaves your hair curly, frizzless, movable, and free of crunch that you get from tons of other products. Nothing says sexy like crunchy hair. Ever walk through dead grass? Same sound.

To use Dream Curls, you spray it on damp hair after you get out of the shower and either allow to air dry or dry it with a diffuser. The latter has worked the best in my experience. I need that extra punch for really tight curls. You can also use it as a hair “touch up” in the morning if you and your hair have had a rough night. Just spray and scrunch it up. Amazing.

There are a few tricks to using this product to its greatest potential. I don’t use a conditioner when I know I’ll be using Dream Curls, so I do not weigh my hair down. Also, I’ve been told by hair stylists to eliminate combing it through if I want really sweet curls because separating the individual hairs leads to more frizz. Just what we want, right?

One more tip! When you’re blow-drying your hair, touch it as infrequently as possible to minimize the frizz quotient.
