Wine Cork Candle

If you are a wine enthusiast, or a fellow wine drinker who would like to think you know something about wine, you may share my feelings about discarding a good bottle after it’s been consumed. I like to remember what I drank and I have a difficult time recalling names of grapes and vineyards. I must also admit that, um… sometimes I buy a bottle of wine based on the label’s artwork. Don’t tell me you haven’t been intrigued by a wine label at least once! There’s an interesting solution to our problem. It comes in the form of a Wine Cork Candle from Uncommon Goods. Sold as a set of twelve cork candles for $22.00, you can place the end of the candle into the mouth of the empty wine bottle, light the wick, then watch it drip dramatically down the sides of the bottle. It’s very Lady and the Tramp when the two lovebirds, er, lovedogs, share a strand of spaghetti and meet in the middle for a surprise smooch. Each candle burns for two hours, which should be perfect timing for your romantic dinner.
