Here in Philadelphia we have a store called Viv Pickle where you can design your own handbags. I recently experienced the joy that is Viv Pickle and picked up my creation and I am so pleased with how it turned out. Viv Pickle has a great online site where you can design your own right from the Internet. Their tag line, ‘because one handbag is never enough’, is unfortunately my mantra. But they make it so easy to put together a custom design and they have fabrics and patterns for every occasion and style.
First you select the shape of the bag. They have clutches, make-up bags, totes, beach bags, messenger bags, diaper bags, and even belts and wallets. Then you select the fabrics, and trust me this is the most difficult part because there are so many!
Step 3 is to customize the inside lining and handles. And the final step is to decide if you want any optional features like a zipper, an inside pocket, fringe, monograms, trim, and more. In a few weeks your custom creation will be ready!
