Damn Hot or Damn Shame
Manolo Camouflage Mary Janes
Tuesday, April 29th, 2008
As a fan of Sex and The City (can’t wait until the movie comes out!) I have especially always loved the fashion and of course the shoes! While I have only been able to admire from afar, Manolo Blahnik shoes to me are the epitome of sexy women’s shoes. I had always been a pocketbook girl loving to get a new bag any chance that I could. Recently, my obsession has shifted to shoes and now, the floor of my closet is lined with shoe boxes and I am always on the hunt for a new pair. Manolo’s to me are the shoes I strive to one day be able to add to my shoe collection. I mean sure I could just charge them and have them next week but I don’t think my credit card debt would be able to handle it. I came across these Manolo Camouflage Mary Janes. When you think ‘Mary Jane’ you think classic girly shoe but by adding the camo print, these take Mary Jane’s to a whole new level. I have never really been able to pull off the camo look but I am sure they could look fierce when paired with the right outfit and for the right occasion. We want to hear what you think to. Are these damn hot or a damn shame. Vote below!!

Converse All Star Hi Top Cabin Eggs and Bacon Sneakers
Monday, October 29th, 2007

We personally would like to keep our bacon and eggs at the breakfast table, but Chuck Taylor decided to bring the duo to a whole new light with these Converse All Star Hi Top Cabin Eggs and Bacon Sneakers. We aren’t really sure if they are more of a joke or more a statement, but we would love to hear from you! Is this little breakfast entree, DAMN HOT or NOT? Although, they do go beyond basketball, by entering the world of fashion in a bold way, is it too much? The shoe features a synthetic upper in bright reds and yellows, vulcanized rubber out sole for increased traction and flexibility and of course, that “in your face” picnic pattern with a small portion of your bacon and eggs on top. We’re just disappointed you don’t get the same great smell accompanying the ever famous breakfast pair.

Ed Hardy Black Heel: Damn Hot or Damn Shame?
Friday, August 10th, 2007
Ok, so I’ve always been a huge Ed Hardy fan. The artwork is incredible and I have been proud to sport it on my sneakers, hoodies, hats, etc. But I question Ed’s latest creation….the black heel. Now a basic black high heel (three to four inches please) has been a staple in my shoe collection for as far back as I can remember being able to successfully walk in them, but once you add a bit of art on my favorite black heel, how does that change my opinion and my style? In this case, Ed Hardy’s basic rose design is featured on a black leather high heel shoe, with his own signature and a metal plate on the toe. This shoe screams fashion icon from top to bottom. We are all for a bit of pizazz, as this shoe gladly provides, but what do you really think of this Ed Hardy Women’s Heels - Black? Did he create another genius work of art? Or did he take a true classic and go too far? We don’t want to be too quick to judge either way, so we ask you all to take a moment and vote or leave a comment with your expert opinion!

Marc by Marc Jacobs Slouch Boot: Damn Hot or Damn Shame?
Tuesday, July 31st, 2007
So the saying goes - ‘you can’t judge a book by its cover’ which I guess for the fashion world can be translated into ‘you can’t judge fashion by the name on the label.’ Just because something is a designer brand doesn’t necessarily mean it is a must-have. Take the Marc by Marc Jacobs Shoes Slouch Boot which I think are a good demonstration of the above mentioned motto. I don’t know what to think about these. I personally have not been a fan of the slouch boot style so maybe I am just not looking at these with an open mind, but, to me, they look like leg warmers sewn into the inside seam of a shoe. The bottom shoe part is brown leather with a brown suede top that has elastic which is pulled together and tied to make them stay up on your calves. Maybe they look really good once you try them on but I don’t think I could pull them off and I am not sure I would want to try.
But we do realize and respect that everyone has their own eye for fashion so we want to know what you think about these boots! Tell us how you really feel by taking our short poll below or by leaving a comment.
