The Automatic Teapot

Monday, May 12th, 2008

If you prefer a morning cup of tea over a cup of coffee like me then this might be something you would be interested in. Now us tea lovers can experience the automatic beverage convenience that coffee drinkers have been enjoying with the first automatic teapot. The Automatic Teapot works with loose tea leaves or teabags. Once you heat the water to the right temperature, you can set the timer and infuser on the teapot. It will automatically remove the tea leaves or tea bag from the water once it is steeped to your desire. Now you can set up the teapot in the morning and not have to worry about standing over it waiting for it to be ready or ruining your cup of tea by keeping the teabag in too long or not long enough. This teapot will make sure that you have the perfect cup of tea every time.

ForkChops

ForkChops

I love eating Japanese food but I am not a very good chopsticks user. I usually try to eat for a little with the chopsticks but find that I end up getting annoyed and must succumb to asking for a fork. That’s why when I saw these ForkChops I thought they would be great for someone like me who ends up using both utensils during my dinner. There are a number of different plastic color options to choose from. One end of the utensil has a fork and a knife and the other end are chopsticks so once you get tired of trying to use the chopsticks or when you can’t get that piece of food up to your mouth, you can just switch sides and try again.

Twirling Spaghetti Fork

While most women long for chocolate, cake and other sugary goodies, I personally desire all Italian food, specifically pasta, pasta, pasta. I can eat it 3 times a day and still want more! Spaghetti, fettuccine, angel hair…whatever, just give it to me. Now for all those pasta lovers out there, that feel the love like me, there are these great Twirling Spaghetti Forks that I stumbled upon. Sounds simple enough, right? Simply dig into your pasta and press the button. Your spaghetti will be twirled up into a beautifully constructed mass. The set includes three forks, 1 green, 1 yellow and 1 red checkerboard fork. Never falter when eating your spaghetti dinners at home. Throw away that spoon that accompanies your fork. Now all you need is some batteries and a finger to press that magical spinning, swirling, twirling button!

Valentine’s Day is on its way and if you have a special someone in your life it’s a great time to come up with a creative way to say ‘I Love you.’ Why not make your hunny a special breakfast on Valentine’s morning and now you can make sure that even the food proclaims how you feel for him with this I Love You Toast Stamper from Urban Outfitters. You place the stamper right into the piece of bread. It says that white bread would work best for this. Once the stamp has made its indentation you toast up the bread and the toasters ‘dark’ settings and your message will really stand out. This is a fun way to add a creative touch to Valentine’s morning.

Hot Chocolate on a Stick

Hot Chocolate on a Stick

As the winter months are well underway it has been starting to get really cold here on the East Coast as temperatures have been dropping. Sometimes on cold winter months I would prefer to just stay warm and cozy in the house with a hot cup of hot chocolate or tea since I am not a coffee drinker. I usually just resort to the instant powder hot chocolate but I may have to try this Hot Chocolate on a Stick from Petrossian. It makes you an active participant in creating the perfect cup of hot chocolate. They are actual cubes of dark chocolate or hazelnut chocolate on a stick that you just add into a cup of hot milk or cream and swirl until the chocolate melts. Once you get the right amount of chocolate melted to your taste preference you can enjoy the rest once it cools. You will never drink hot chocolate the same again!

Those added shipping fees can bust your budget and make you rethink your gift giving. Your friends and loved ones shouldn’t have to suffer because you procrastinated. You can still get them a gift that will arrive on Christmas day without the shipping headache. Why not send them an Email Gift Card?

A New Way To Give Gifts With MyThings.com

My Things

Do you dread the holidays because you never know what to get your friends and family? Shopping for yourself can be hard let alone shopping for others which can cause even more holiday stress; will they like it, will it fit, do they already have something like it. And then there are those people on your holiday gift list that pretty much have everything you can think of and you just become stumped every time you have to think of a present for them. There is a really cool website that can take some of the stress away from gift-giving and help you find the perfect gift for others as well as make sure you get some perfect gifts for yourself too! It’s called the Giftlist from MyThings.com.

mythings.com

It’s a website that lets you find out exactly what the people on your gift list will want and will like. Here is how it works. You create a free account and create a list of possible gifts. You can then email this list anonymously to your friends and family through the website. They will be asked to rate the options or add anything that is missing and you will be able to track their feedback. And to make sure it is kept a surprise, they won’t know who sent them the list. You can also create your own Wishlist through the site and keep track of everything you want so you can give some hints out.

Halloween Giant Fortune Cookie

Halloween Giant Fortune Cookie

I don’t know about you, but Halloween is actually my favorite holiday! There may not be many gifts involved or a jolly man coming down the chimney, but dressing up and the ghoulish parties are always a fun time. Halloween is not far off and preparing for the festivities can be almost as fun as partaking in them. I stumbled upon this Halloween Fortune Cookie and realized it’s probably a super fun way to treat (and trick) the host of your next Halloween party! It is a giant cookie that is hand dipped in chocolate and then decorated with the cutest (and scariest) of icing decorations; like witches, ghosts and goblins (oh my!).

Although the outside is what draws the most attention, the inside can be a great bewitching surprise, as well. Personalize the foot-long fortune inside; then the company packages it and sends it ready for you to give as a ‘thanks for having me’ gift at your next Halloween party!
