Pinnochio Toilet Brush

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

Don’t lie, when is the last time you cleaned your toilets? Toilet cleaning isn’t exactly a favorite amongst us all, but it must be done and you might as well add a little childhood fun to the project. This Pinnochio Toilet Brush makes for a fairytale of fun while scrubbing your own toilets. His nose is displayed as the handle for a good grasp as you scrub against dirt and scum inside and around your toilet. And his little head is used as the sponge and scrubber to do a hard day’s work! When finished, simply rinse Pinnochio off and place him back in his stand, which doubles as his hat. Cleaning, especially that of a toilet never seemed so magically fun!

Netflix Player by Roku

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

I’m a huge fan of Netflix. I recently caught up on every season of Lost using the service. It’s a great way to get into shows that you’ve missed or catch movies in the privacy of your own home. But there is one flaw, you have to wait for the snail mail to arrive. They improved on this with the new Watch Instantly feature, but it still had you stuck at your computer if you didn’t have a Xbox 360 or some other setup. Well, that’s all changing with the new Netflix Player by Roku. This small paperback book size box lets you watch movies from Netflix’s 10,000 Watch Instantly titles on your TV! It also comes with it’s own remote and has Universal Compatibility so that HDTV you have won’t be left out of the loop. The one drawback it that new releases are not part of this plan, but I’m sure that will change very soon. So for now, buy the Netflix Player by Roku, use snail mail for the new releases until they combined the Watch Instantly with the new releases and enjoy the best of both worlds.

The DILT team really loves finding pieces that are multifaceted. This is one example that does not disappoint. It’s called a Small ZenHaus. It comes in 4 color fiberglass options. It has a flat top, venting slots on the side, and a door on the side. The inside of the piece can serve as a sleeping room for your small dog or cat. The door easily opens and closes making it easy for your pets to come and go. But like most cat and dog beds that just function for that purpose, this one gives you more options. TIME Table By David Quan From Umbra

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

If you’re lucky enough to live in Philadelphia or close by and you haven’t checked out Fork You Live yet, shame on you! The second best thing about attending the Fork You Live taping is that they are hosted by Fosters. The first thing being the free food of course. Every time I’m there I find something unique that I need to get for my apartment. As I was checking their website recently, I came across this cool TIME Table. This end table is made of spun metal and finished with brushed nickel giving it a classy industrial feeling. The glass top protects a clock which has the hours written in a continuous, cursive script making it perfect for watching the time slip by as you knock back a few cocktails. The TIME Table is a great minimalist design while still being eye catching enough to any living room it’s placed in.
