Wrap up mom in luxury…while we all can’t certainly afford a mink coat, you can afford a nice jacket for the spring! This Rampage Jane Plaid 3/4 Long Jacket is ideal for the business-busy mother on the go. Meeting to meeting, from dusk to dawn, this mom needs a jacket that can keep up with her work schedule. Made of a subtle plaid and a button front with a removable tie. There are also pockets in front with a back slit on the center back hem. This jacket looks great with any black dress pants or skirt. Even have mom sport it on the weekends with a classic pair of dark wash jeans. While the days may be a little more warmer, there are still nights where the temperature drops and a light coat is needed. PERCORS GIACCA COAT by Diesel
Tuesday, January 8th, 2008
While I am not the biggest fan of jackets or coats, it is inevitable that I have to purchase and wear one when going outdoors in the colder weather. If I am going to have to suffer through wearing a bulky jacket, I might as well make sure that it is one that look goods. This PERCORS GIACCA COAT by Diesel is a really cute excuse to actually love jackets. The jacket gathers at the waist to release a great look for your girlish figure and will flatter just about every body type. While it might resemble a raincoat style, this certainly isn’t your every day raincoat. It is made from mostly wool and will keep your body warm and snug throughout the winter’s chill and beyond. The versatile gray color makes it easier than ever to find a great matching scarf, hat and gloves to ensure you stay even warmer! We believe that with this jacket, you can easily be part snow bunny, but all fashionista.

Gap Puffer Vest
Wednesday, November 28th, 2007
Last weekend I went outlet shopping, which is always dangerous for the bank account! The outlets were all outside and it was a chilly day so I had the dilemma of whether I should keep my coat in the car or wear it. Well, I ended up wearing it, which probably was not the best idea because I was forced to lug it around inside the crowded stores where a coat was definitely not needed. For days where you are doing a lot of running around and it is not that far into winter yet, a vest is the perfect cover-up. The Gap Puffer Vest
is a great option. It comes in a selection of colors and is not too puffy to make you look bulky. It is a zip-up with a fur-lined detachable hood and snap enclosures. Wear it on top of a thermal shirt or a sweater and it will give you just the right amount of warmth without overdoing it.

Abercrombie Ellen Coat
Wednesday, November 14th, 2007
Winter is fast approaching (although the weather lately would lead us to believe otherwise) and preparing for that cold front heading towards us is never a fun thing to do, but at least it can be a super adorable thing to do with this Abercrombie Ellen Coat. It has a zip and real horn toggle closure, tonal trim detailing, removable faux fur trimmed hood, double-layer mounted label and of course, the moose embroidery. The navy color allows you to pair this coat with your favorite pair of jeans or khakis, for a brisk walk to work or in and out of stores as you run errands around town. You won’t feel the bitter cold of mother nature, but you might feel the heat start to rise as onlookers ogle your sweet snow bunny taste!

While most of the styles from the 80’s are easily forgettable, I wouldn’t mind welcoming back the low clothing prices of the 80’s. Remember when Jeans were no more then $50 at the high end? Well, if you are nostalgic and live for the time of simple, low priced clothing, than you will love this Members Only Reversible Retro Jacket from Classic Closeouts. Available in two reversible styles and featuring the Members Only logo, this jacket will instantly add cool points without breaking the bank.

Melton Wool Cropped Jacket
Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007
I have always loved Target to find great housewares pieces for really affordable prices. When it came to clothes, I really never spent too much time looking. Now it seems like Target is really upping the ante by featuring new designer lines and more clothing options. They are now featuring International Flights of Fashion which are exclusive limited time selections from rising fashion designers. Currently, up until November 17th, the featured design line is Alice Temperley whose fashion is said to be inspired by the English countryside. It is very old Victorian fashion with lots of lace and ruffle accents. The Melton Wool Cropped Jacket is a classic style with very posh detailing and lines. The cropped jacket has elbow length bell sleeves that flare out from the arm, a broad collar, and 4 metal buttons with ruffle trim lining enclosures. The jacket scoops upwards in the front and since it is short, it works great to layer under a longer tank or sweater.

Juicy Couture Pleated Empire Coat
Monday, October 1st, 2007
A hood really comes in handy on days when you might have left the house without grabbing your umbrella and if you are as unlucky as I am in those situations, it starts down pouring right at the moment when you get out of your car to walk into work. And, since winter is on its way, they also come in handy to cover your hair from snow. The pieces in my wardrobe that have hoods are hooded zip-up sweatshirts which really don’t cut it if you are dressed up. This Juicy Couture Pleated Empire Coat puts a girly touch on the hooded jacket. It is a black fleece double breasted coat with six button closures at the top and an empire waist that flares out below to create a really appealing shape. It has a feminine butterfly collar and a slitted opening in the back of the coat. The sleeves come right to your elbow so it is probably not the most ideal coat to wear in the blistering cold but for the fall days it would be a really fashionable addition to your outerwear.
