Tassi Headband
Friday, April 18th, 2008
I have shoulder length hair and while it is not very long I still need to pull it back for certain things like washing my face or putting my make-up on. I also have to go through the daily routine of blow-drying and straightening my hair so the last thing I want to do is indent it by pulling it back with a hair elastic. I usually use clips but even with them sometimes you can tell that I had my hair back with something. The Tassi headband is a way to pull your hair back without messing up your ‘do. You just put your head through the headband and slide it up over your face and tuck your hair in the back widest part of the band. It will hold your hair in place and get it away from your face.

Journal for Collecting Fortunes from Fortune Cookies
Wednesday, January 30th, 2008
I love Chines food, and I especially look ordering take-out Chinese food and eating it on a TV table while watching some of my favorite shows. It wouldn’t be take-out Chinese food without Fortune Cookies for desert. And everyone gets a little bit of pleasure in opening up that cookie to reveal what your fortune says and reading it aloud with everyone you are eating with. Sometimes you get a fortune that actually means something for you and maybe is even inspiring. While I try to sometimes keep it, the paper is so small it usually always ends up missing. I thought this Journal for Collecting Fortunes from Fortune Cookies was a cool idea for giving a home to all those pieces of paper wisdom. It has pages for you to attach your favorite fortunes and even provides lines if you want to jot down some notes about the significance of the fortune. It also includes the Chinese Zodiac and descriptions of all the animal symbols. Now you can keep track and see if any of your fortunes come true.

Mobile Device Charging Holder
Wednesday, January 16th, 2008
I usually always charge my cell phone at night while I sleep. I know that some say it is not good to charge your cell phone every night and for long periods of time but it is usually overnight when I remember and have the time to put it on the charger. While my phone charges it usually just rests on the floor or else I extend it to have it sit on my bedside table but it sometimes falls off since the cord is stretched which is definitely not good for my cell phone or for my sleep because the sound of it falling usually ends up waking me up. There is now a really cool Mobile Device Charging Holder that does exactly as it states - holds your cell phone or other mobile device while it charges in the electrical outlet. The device has a round circular opening that the charger goes through and a ledge to hold the mobile device and wrap the reminder of the cord around. It comes in a variety of colors and would be great to keep around the house to protect your cell phone during the time it takes to charge it up.

Gal Pal Garment Deodorant Remover
Wednesday, August 29th, 2007
I have to admit, I am sometimes a victim of walking around unknowingly with deodorant streaks on my top. Try as I might to avoid it they sometimes creep their ugly head onto my clothes and the worst part about it is that I usually don’t realize it until I am at work well into the day. The Gal Pal Garment Deodorant Remover from The Spoon Sisters is a great thing to keep in your handbag or your desk drawer. The kit comes with two circular pads that you can wipe over the white marks to make them disappear from your clothing. You can either use them dry or add a little water if it is appearing tough to remove. Now you won’t have to worry about co-workers looking at you wondering how you managed to leave the house without noticing the condition of your shirt.

Lazy Spoon
Tuesday, June 5th, 2007I don’t know about you, but I always have stirring issues while cooking. You have a few pots on the stove and an accompanying spoon for each but with limited space to rest them in between stirring and serving. So what’s a cook to do? Sure you can rest them on the side of the stove or your counter and then have to worry about cleaning up all the liquids afterwards, or you can purchase The Lazy Spoon from Spoon Sisters. It’s a wooden spoon that has a slot built right into the handle to fit on the edge of your pots. And, since its wood, it will be safe on your cookware. Preparing you food has never been so easy!
