Beat Sun Glare With Dragon Polarized Shades
Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008
If you’re outside at dawn or sunset, you know what sun glare can do. It can pierce your retinas faster than you can say, “Holy hot fireball!” And that’s with your sunglasses on! Fear not, people! Dragon eyewear has just been polarized, meaning that the lens actually acts as blinds for your glasses. The polarized lens filters scattered and reflective light to protect your precious eyeballs from the grips of glare. Dragon offers 21 main styles of eyewear with the Polarized lens option, each with various nuances and color choices. My favs are the GG Coffee and Murdock Chestnut. They’re badass. Just like me.

The GGs, which will run you $105, are 100% UV protected and tout Polycarbonate lenses and Grillamid frame material for lightweight durability. The Murdocks, $110, are a hot pair of aviators built with a Monel alloy frame, spring hinge, and the same Polycarbonate lenses. There’s a two-year manufacturer warranty on these babies, too. That doesn’t cover your stupidity in leaving them on the floor for your dog to gnaw on. You may be a mess, but with Dragon eyewear, at least you’ll be a hot mess.

Bright Lights Sunglasses

I am an 80s child and although I can’t totally remember the great times that were had, I do remember the side ponytails and leggings my mother had me sporting through most of the decade. If you remember more of the 80s than I do and wanna bring it back, because you realize it was a pretty damn good time, then well, here’s a great first step to being that rad chick we all knew and loved. Choose from three different bright colored Bright Lights Sunglasses, available at Urban Outfitters. All you need is to put these shades on, break out a little Bon Jovi or Bangles and rock out like it’s 1985! Who can forget the neon clothes and the vibrant accessories? Now, the sunshine and rockin’ times can continue with these sunglasses. They say history always repeats itself and in this case, we are sure glad it did!

Logo Print Sunglasses
Monday, October 8th, 2007
Just because the weather is getting cooler, it doesn’t mean that the suns rays are any less intense on your precious eyes. A great pair of sunglasses should carry you beyond the Summer and into the Fall and Winter months, as well. We like these Logo Print Sunglasses because of the three dark frame color choices. Nobody wants to see you in those baby pink or white Prada glasses you’ve been sporting all Summer long, now that we’re well on our way into September and October. It’s now time to switch over to a darker frame that suits your cooler weather wardrobe more appropriately. Choose wisely and choose quickly, because the weather and leaves will continue to change with or without you!

Vonzipper Dharma Sunglasses
Wednesday, August 15th, 2007
OK they might be a little too Nicole Richie for some, but there is nothing too high class about these Von zipper Dharma Sunglasses. The teal color that fades along the frame adds a little quirkiness that flirts with high maintenance. The lenses have a slight faded tint to protect your precious eyes and the frames are over sized to keep you looking trendy all day long. They are the perfect combination of practical and fashionable! What more could you want?

Dior Oversized Rimless Sunglasses
Wednesday, April 4th, 2007
An oversized pair of sunglasses NEVER goes out of style according to Dior. These oversized rimless plastic frames are available in pink, tortoise or black and carry the famous “D” logo as a hinge on the side. You can dress them up for a night on the town or dress them down for a shopping adventure on Rodeo. Either way, these are the sunglasses to outdo all others. Throw away your ones from the past; you don’t need them anymore, because these are the only pair to shine in the sun.
