I Am Not A Paper Cup
Thursday, August 14th, 2008
Do not be fooled, we aren’t trying to get you to spend twenty dollars on a plain ol’ Starbucks cup! While this cup looks like nothing more than a plastic coffee cup they give you at your local shop, if you look more closely, you will certainly see that it’s actually a great way to “go green” and help out a great cause. This I Am Not A Paper Cup is actually made of porcelain, which allows you to use it over and over again. Simply wash out after each use and filler up once more. It is durable and keeps all your drinks warm, easily and conveniently. If you don’t have the time to help pick up trash, recycle glass bottles, or protest against the use of Styrofoam, the least you can do for mother nature is quit wasting all that plastic each morning!

Steel Drum Bread Drum
Tuesday, August 12th, 2008
With such limited kitchen space in my apartment, anything that can serve multiple functions is a winner for me. Like this Steel Drum Bread Drum. It is a stainless steel bread box with a sliding door to hold your bread and keep it fresh. The top of the bread box has a bamboo circle cutting board so you can literally take the bread from the bread box and cut it up right on top eliminating the need to get out an extra cutting board. A kitchen accessory that saves time and space is a great one.

Wine Cork Candle
Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008
If you are a wine enthusiast, or a fellow wine drinker who would like to think you know something about wine, you may share my feelings about discarding a good bottle after it’s been consumed. I like to remember what I drank and I have a difficult time recalling names of grapes and vineyards. I must also admit that, um… sometimes I buy a bottle of wine based on the label’s artwork. Don’t tell me you haven’t been intrigued by a wine label at least once! There’s an interesting solution to our problem. It comes in the form of a Wine Cork Candle from Uncommon Goods. Sold as a set of twelve cork candles for $22.00, you can place the end of the candle into the mouth of the empty wine bottle, light the wick, then watch it drip dramatically down the sides of the bottle. It’s very Lady and the Tramp when the two lovebirds, er, lovedogs, share a strand of spaghetti and meet in the middle for a surprise smooch. Each candle burns for two hours, which should be perfect timing for your romantic dinner.

Executive Neck Tie Pillows
Monday, February 25th, 2008
If you ask a man what his least favorite clothing item is, chances are he’ll reply, “necktie.” Try going through an 8 hour (or more) day with something that feels as though you are being strangled around your neck. They might make a suit or a classic look feel complete, but feeling good they do not. Now we found a great way to feel good when it comes to neckties! These Executive Neck Tie Pillows are super soft throw pillows made completely of silk ties! Choose from bright multi-colored, red or grey. Each comes with a removable cover and soft velour backing. This makes it easier than ever to clean your pillow whenever necessary! Toss a few on the bed, the couch, the love seat, etc. Use them for decoration or to lounge on while watching TV or reading a good book. Whatever you do with these pillows and wherever you place them, each are a great reason to appreciate the necktie once again.

One Tough Cookie Paperweights
Wednesday, February 13th, 2008
You scream! I scream! We all scream for ice cream! OK, we may all be screaming for it, but definitely do not eat this ice cream. These are strictly for eyes only as they are nothing more than simple paperweights! The One Tough Cookie Paperweights are a carbon copy of store-bought ones, right down to the tiny ridges and details on the edges. The ice cream sandwich looks like it might melt at any minute with what looks like oozing vanilla ice cream struggling to be kept inside the cookie ends. Although this certainly may look good enough to eat, we certainly can not and do not recommend even the slightest lick! Unless of course, you have a strange taste for office supplies.

Magtable Coffee Table
Wednesday, February 6th, 2008
My boyfriend and I both subscribe to a number of magazines. And since all of them are mostly monthly, they come in the mail around the same time. With us both being so busy sometimes, we don’t have a chance to read the magazine from the month before when the new one comes in the mail. We try to house most of our magazines on our coffee table but it gets to a point where they almost take over the table because there are so many of them. The Magtable Coffee Table really caught my eye because it would be great in my apartment and yours too if you also have an overabundance of magazines. It’s a solid wood birch coffee table with thin slots in the surface to hang your magazines from. That way you can still have them out so you don’t forget about them but it will clear away the surface of your coffee table.

I Love You Heart Vase
Tuesday, February 5th, 2008
The best gift on Valentine’s Day is the gift of love and what not a better way to say “I Love You” then with the “I Love You” Heart Vase? When the vase is filled with flowers, the translucent hues pick up on the green stems of the flowers. So, if you were thinking flowers this Valentine’s Day, don’t also forget to give your “heart” to go along with them.
