Julia Cocco Cupcake Watch
Friday, August 1st, 2008
Who can argue that cupcakes might just be the most delicious little cakes in the whole world? Whether it is vanilla cake with chocolate icing, chocolate cake with strawberry icing, or velvet cake with vanilla icing (the list could go on), those delectable treats are a tiny burst of deliciousness with each bite you take! So when Julia Cocco created her line of “Cupcake” Watches, it immediately appealed to all of our senses. This Cupcake Watch is what we’d call angel food cake with vanilla icing! It is a bright, all white design with a rounded square face. The face is then outlined with raised white polka dots and finished off with a perforated rubber band. YUM. Check out the other “Cupcake” options, as well. Each comes in a deliciously fun hue, to remind us of our favorite dessert!

Dali Watch
Friday, January 4th, 2008
In 2005, the Philadelphia Art Museum was the only American venue to host the major centennial retrospective exhibition devoted to Salvador Dalí and his works. Luckily, living in Philly, I got to see his great work and admire it closely. If you are as much of a fan of his work as I am, then you will find the Dali Watch as interesting as some of his Surrealist paintings. His signature mustache replaces the watches hands to tell the time, while an ant ticks away the seconds. This would be a great gift for someone who loves watches as much as they love art.

Juicy Couture Rue de Pacoima Crown Watch
Wednesday, November 7th, 2007
Want a pretty way to tell the time? Seems like a foolish question to ask someone, but bracelets and watches are a great way to fool your wrists! This Juicy Couture Rue de Pacoima Crown Watch is an adorable accessory, plus it tells the time to make it both pretty and totally functional. The watch is a gold-plated stainless steel bracelet, including a gold-plated brass crown charm, with the watch face on the underside of crown. The charm hangs from a velvet-embellished chain. The actual watch is all sophistication with a mother-of-pearl dial with P&G hands. And when you aren’t showing off how great your wrist can really look, simply place the watch in the adorable Juicy case that the watch comes in to rest for its next outing!

Grifter GT Watch By Red Monkey
Thursday, September 6th, 2007
I’m a big fan of thick buckle watches. I got a Fossil from a friend as a gift a few years ago. It just set on my dresser for a few months before I had the courage to put it on, and once I did, I really liked it. What I like about the thick band watches from Red Monkey is that you can customize them to your liking. The Grifter GT Watch (above) is shown with white Ruin leather with white face. If you don’t like that you can change the face color or the leather or both. They have a number of colors to choose from making it easy to match your style as well as your outfits. So head over to the site and and get your watch customization on!

If a Timex watch and an iPod had a kid, it would look something like this IRONMAN Sleek iControl Watch. The iControl watch has everything you need in a serious sports watch - Water Resistances, night light, three time zones, 2 interval timers, 3 alarms, a countdown timer, plus more. But what really separates this watch the the standard affair is its iPod integration. It transmits signals to your iPod so you can play, pause, advance tracks forward and reverse, and control volume. Now all you need is a watch the will run for you!

Gucci G Chronograph Watch
Friday, August 3rd, 2007While in Atlantic City on vacation, I had the fortune to look at this Gucci G Chronograph Watch in person and I must say, I’m not the kind of people who would pay a lot for a watch but if I were too, this would be the one I’d get. The one I saw was black and not nearly as cool as this one. I really like the Green/red/green Roman numerals at six and twelve o’clock and the Red leather strap. It also a has a “G” on the face with the inside replacing the number 3 and sapphire crystals in the place of the remaining numbers. What I don’t like about it is the price tag, but if anyone wants to get it for me, I wouldn’t complain!
