It’s time for some shoe shopping! That’s right ladies, fall shoes are out in full effect so it is the perfect time to see which shoes from last year you are keeping and what you need to add to your to-buy list. Here are some of our suggestions for the must-have shoes for the fall.
Now I have to admit that I have been a slow adopter to flats. Being vertically challenged has made me feel just really extra short without heels on. But, with so many cute styles of flat shoes out now, how can you resist them. I know I couldn’t. J.Crew has some great fall flats.
The Lulu Leather Ballet Flats ($160.00) are soft Italian leather with a very tiny stacked heel and a patent-leather bow on the side to add a really feminine touch.
The Becca Ballet Flats ($140.00) are the ultimate everyday flat. They come in several fabric patterns from polka dots to artistic designs. These are great for the office and under a pair of jeans.
A low boot is a all essential for the fall. They work great under a pair of jeans or pants but you can also wear them over a pair of tights with a skirt or a dress for a going-out look.
The Boutique 9 “Hilda” Bootie ($150.00) is a suede boot with rouching across the arch of the foot and a stiletto heel.
If you are looking for a leather option, the Report “Boston” Bootie ($115.00) is a stylish option. It has a round toe and flaps over on the top on both sides. It also has seams sewn in across the boot adding extra detailing.
Nothing is more sexy than a great pair of high boots. You can wear them over a pair of skinny jeans or my favorite under a pair of winter capris or a fall skirt.
The Bandolino “Nieves” Boot ($99.00) has stretch leather that will conform to your legs. With a pointed toe front and a short heel these could work for many outfits.
And for a brown boot option, the Nine West “Nevan” Boot ($179.00) has a pointed toe and 2 buckle details on the back of the boot.
Don’t think of wedges as just for the summer. There are some great close-toed wedges that work for the fall.
The Hint T Strap Wedge by Michael Kors ($210.00) is a sexy shoe. It’s patent leather with a t-strap that buckles around the ankle and cut-outs on the front of the shoe.
And one of my personal favorite wedges for the fall, the Tory Burch Sophie Logo Patent Wedge ($295.00). I just had to get this one for myself because I had been eyeing it for months. It is a patent leather wedge is a great deep red color. It has the signature Tory Burch logo emblem on the front of the shoe and a stacked wedge heel.
Pumps are pretty much the staple shoe. You can’t have too many and they are so versatile that they can really work with so many outfits.
Mary Janes are definitely one of those styles from the past that, like so many other fashions, have come back as a shoe style for the fall. Check out these Zera Leather Mary Jane Platform from MAXSTUDIO ($145.00). They come in your classic black or brown and have a thick strap across the front with a small button detail on the side.
The slingback is a classic style. The Steve Madden Scorchin ($89.96) are suede slingbacks with pleated detail and a slight platform. And in the season’s hottest color, purple, these shoes will really complete an outfit.
